Now that Ragnar is over, it’s time to focus on MARATHON training! SD Rock n Roll Marathon is on June 5th! That is 6 weeks away! I want to get in as many quality runs as I can in order to make this marathon as painless as possible. I’m sure it’ll be painful.. but I can only try right?
This weekend we are going on an outing so I will once again miss the VAVI long run. Today was Good Friday and that is a holiday at my work. I think I’m the only one..
I used today to get my long run in. I drove with Todd to work & ran home. It worked out perfectly!
I’m pretty happy with that pace. I’d be happy keeping that pace in the marathon! It would come out to a little over 4 hours though I do have to add on 10 more miles. We will see… we will see..
Seasonal Produce Calendar
The other day I received a gift in the mail! It was from my friend Justine who started making calendars. The calendar theme is right up my alley so she sent me one! Each month highlights the fruits & veggies that are in season during that month. Buying in season local food is so much better for the environment. The more we stay away from factory produced produce the better!
