Ready or not, here I come!

Remember the funk I was in with my marathon training?  I think yoga was just what I needed! After that wonderful night of yoga, I’ve had two great runs!  On Thursday, I ran a wonderful lunchtime 6 miler where I probably should’ve worn sunscreen!  Yes, sunscreen in January! =)

I think this was the fastest I’ve ever ran 6 miles!

Woohoo!

This morning I ran 9 with Vavi for our last long run before race day!  We ran it in Carlsbad on part of the course for next week.  It was a beautiful day in San Diego! Love the scenery, love the feeling when I’ve completed a run, why is it so hard to get out and just run!?  Here’s my run info for today:

It was hot this morning running, might need sunglasses or a hat next weekend!

Recently I’ve had this debate with myself.  On the settings of my garmin, I enabled the Auto-Pause feature meaning when I stop, say at a stop light or something, my time stops.  This is so that my running pace does not get messed up from ‘non-running’ parts of the run.  My issue is that during my long runs, there are water stops where I may stop to get water out of the jug or to eat my gels and this stopping time is not included in my run time.  Sometimes I think it should be because come race day, there is no Auto-Pause feature! Any thoughts on the issue?  Should I disable this feature?

Stay tuned for my first sourdough loaf that has been in the works for the past week now, starter and all…
